IL Concealed Carry Course

Service Description

State Required 16 hour Concealed Carry Course. Requirements: * At least 21 years of age * Possess a VALID drivers license/ID or VALID FOID (Firearms Owner's Identification) card, * Be a resident of IL, AR, MS, TX, or VA. * Not prohibited by state or federal. law from legally possessing a firearm * Be physically capable of safely & effectively operating a firearm * Be able to speak & read English Rates: 16hr full course $300 : 16hr applied credit $225 : 8hr (Day 2 only) $150 ***See adjusted rate details below*** $100 Deposit is required to complete registration Learning Objectives: *Firearms Safety & Handling *Basic Principals of Marksmanship & Fundamentals *Functions of concealable firearms & Care/Maintenance *Understanding state & federal laws *Interacting with Law Enforcement *Drawing from concealment *Written Test *Range Qualification INCLUDED: *Lunch & water *Use of equipment (if necessary) *(1) B-27 qualification target NOT INCLUDED: *Ammunition *State Application fee ***Adjusted Rates*** 8hr Concealed Carry Course prerequisites (Day 2 Only) Credit is applied (8hrs) towards course at half the regular rate ($150) provided proof of previous training. *NRA Basic Pistol Course *NRA Protection in the Home Course *NRA Protection Outside the Home Course *Active, Retired, or Honorably Discharged member of US Armed Forces *Prior Law Enforcement/Corrections Officer Firearms Training as detailed in 430ILCS66/75(J) 16hr course with approved training credit. Credit can be applied at a discounted rate ($225) with proof of other previous training, but the full 16 hour course must be attended & completed.
